Now the Levi’s® Vintage Sundays spirit has entrenched itself in the hearts of music lovers all over Mzansi.  Throughout the country Sundays are no longer an ending, but the starting point for an incredible evening packed with the best local bands pumping out their uniquely styled, totally homegrown sounds.  Thanks to this commitment to South African sounds, the Levi’s® brand has become synonymous with fresh, quality local music.  And Levi’s® Vintage Sundays is its flagship project – an incredible, diverse and thriving celebration of everything exciting on our musical landscape.

 

In May Levi’s® Vintage Sundays will enter its fifth year.  In the past four years the iconic jeans brand has hosted an incredible 160 shows all over the country.  There have been loads of legendary performances, surprise collaborations, rock ‘n roll moments and eye-opening antics.  Local musical royalty, across genres, has taken this opportunity to give some of their most memorable shows.  And it has always been for free, proving that the Levi's® brand is committed to keeping Mzansi in touch with its musical icons, and ensuring that these stars connect with their fans.

 

So, if you can recall what Sunday evenings were like a half decade ago you’re probably smiling knowingly to yourself right now.  Because those days are gone -  now it’s all about Levi’s® Vintage Sundays, and the legendary status that this series of events has garnered over the years.  The sixth edition is going to be as incredible, as uncompromising, as inspiring as ever before.  Get your excuses ready for being late on Monday mornings.  You’re going to need them.
